The Summerhouse is a great place to stay for outdoor enthusiasts. the location is perfect for hiking and cycling, with trails right on the doorstep. the views from the accommodation are stunning, especially during the sunset. the hosts are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. the property is well-designed and cozy, perfect for couples on a short retreat.

The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and service could be improved. There were some issues with wet bathmats, used dishcloths, and residue in the sink and bath plugholes.

Had a fantastic Easter getaway! the location was breathtaking, surrounded by nature and so peaceful. We loved waking up to the stunning views every morning. the quirky and cozy summerhouse was a perfect retreat, with all the makings of breakfast ready for us to enjoy at our own pace. the hosts were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the nearby pub was dog-friendly, allowing us to enjoy a lovely meal with our furry friends.

Only a couple of minor issues during our stay. the sliding bathroom door could use an inside handle for easier opening.

The Summerhouse is an incredible place that exceeded all our expectations. The attention to detail in the decor and the stunning view from the big windows left us speechless. We were also thrilled that they welcomed our furry friends. The location, near Chester yet secluded, was perfect for a peaceful getaway. We loved the quirky design of the property and the cozy atmosphere it created. Having breakfast ingredients ready for us was a thoughtful touch. The hosts, Lisa and John, were warm and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Despite a few minor things like cobwebs and a small shortage of kitchen utensils, the overall experience was outstanding. We can't wait to return to this special creative space. Highly recommended.

I had an exceptional stay at this unique and charming property. The views were absolutely fantastic, and even though it rained during my visit, the place still had a lovely atmosphere. Being secluded from the noise of daily life allowed me to enjoy some much-needed quiet space. The quirky conversion and interesting features of the property added to its charm. Plus, the location right on the Offa's Dyke and not far from a pub/food options was very convenient. The authentic decoration and the spectacular sunset over the Welsh countryside truly made this stay memorable.

I did notice a couple of minor issues during my stay. The breakfast provided was not the best, and there were some small hygiene concerns with the used dishcloth and residue in the sinks.

The property had a lovely layout and cozy decor, perfect for a short stay. The rural location added to the peacefulness of the retreat, with beautiful views to enjoy. The big windows allowed us to take in the surroundings. being able to bring our furry friends along was a major bonus.

Although overall the stay was enjoyable, attention to detail was lacking in some areas. We found a wet bathmat and a used dishcloth upon arrival, and there was residue in both the sink and bath plugholes.

We absolutely loved staying at this adorable summerhouse with its quirky features and breathtaking views. the hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, even offering to assist us during unexpected snowfall. the fact that the local pub was just a short walk away and also dog-friendly was a definite bonus. the summerhouse itself was a creative and cozy space, with no TV but plenty of board games and books for entertainment. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the thoughtful consideration given to guests in the high-quality decor and amenities. we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and peaceful escape.

Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.

What a unique, creatively designed space! The converted summerhouse had such a quirky and inviting style, with reclaimed and natural products used for decoration. The view from the accommodation was absolutely stunning, and we never got tired of admiring it. The owners, John and Lisa, were warm and comforting hosts, making us feel right at home. It was also a bonus to have a glass of Prosecco on the house and the other items in the stores were a nice touch. The location was perfect for enjoying walks and cycling in the surrounding area, and being dog-friendly was a big plus. we had a truly special and memorable stay at this beautiful and lovingly converted summerhouse.
